December 26th: Christmas at Home
Put your body
where your soul feels alive.
Give yourself permission
to take up space there.
Stay, as long as it takes.
Return, as often as you need.
There are a million ways to choose a home.
Choose wisely. We need you here.
— Rev. Sarah (Are) Speed
Whether it's painting an accent wall, refinishing a bathroom, or re-doing your entire kitchen, nothing makes a place feel like "home" quite like a little bit of do-it-yourself work! The same is true for Church, too.
On the first Sunday after Christmas, we will not be worshipping live. Instead, we will be providing an outline for a do-it-yourself, at-home worship experience to help you carve out meaningful space for reflection and prayer during the busy holiday season. This lovely, simple service for all ages is a great opportunity to practice making a home for God in your own space with your friends, family, and whoever you're staying cozy with this winter.
We will have copies of the service available at Christmas Eve. We'll also email it to you on Sunday morning if you're on our weekly worship guide mailing list.
