Greetings from Sunday Afternoon Live!

Sunday Afternoon Live is a free winter concert series sponsored as an outreach ministry of FCCBC. We have successfully brought quality musical entertainment to Battle Creek and the surrounding area for 11 seasons since the programs inception in 2010. In 2020, we squeezed in under the Covid shutdown, but had to cancel for 2021. We are hoping that we can present our 12th season in 2022, and while it may look a little different due to Covid-19 precautions, we need your help in putting this series on.

The series consists of 5 concerts, which begin in mid-January continuing through mid-March with the possibility of a 6th concert presented by The Gilmore in late April. There are a lot of nuts and bolts to putting together the concert season, from signing artists, creating marketing and program content, fund raising, and putting on the concerts themselves. Many of our alumni serve as greeters, ushers, or servers for our receptions. Our committee has shrunk in recent years through attrition and retirements (usually to head south) and this year is no exception.

If you have an interest or skills in using Publisher, fund raising, preparation of mailings to donors, running the sound booth (very simple compared to church service), or just helping out wherever, we need you!
